Wireless keyboard&headset both stop working randomly for 2 seconds
I use a Turtle Beach EarForce PX3 (wireless headset) and a wireless Logitech keyboard. After using my computer for a while (few hrs.), my keyboard and headset both 'freeze up' for about 2 seconds every few minutes. My keyboard will act as if my finger is still on the button I was pressing (if I was...

From time to time (possibly when the PC has been on for a long time) I hear no sound--no Windows sounds, no player sounds (movie or music). And yet if I go to my Windows Volume mixer and test it, all works well; I can hear things. In such cases all i need to do is reboot and all is OK again. So I...

I currently am running Windows Vista 64 bit. I also have a Logitech USB headset.
The problem I'm having is that any sound that goes through my headset speakers (such as sounds from games) can be heard over my microphone. I personally can't hear it come out of the microphone but anyone I'm voice chatting/skyping with can hear EVERYTHING that comes out of speakers. Obviously that makes things a little difficult when we're trying to play games since hearing every sound from my game is quite distracting to them.
My friend has the exact same headset as me but I can't hear anything from his side except his voice (although he is also running Windows 7 so it might be a Vista thing?). It's like my speaker and microphone lines are tied together or have the same output or something. How can I fix this so only I can hear what comes out of my headset speakers?
EDIT: Forgot to mention, if I manually mute my microphone (by pushing the button on the headset) then people cannot hear the sounds from my headset speakers.

Sound Through Headset Not Speakers

  2. If your Xbox Chat Headset, or the wired mic you use for Xbox One isn't working and you can't hear what people are saying. Troubleshoot the Xbox One Chat Headset on Windows 10. If you can't hear sound through your Xbox One Chat Headset, make sure you're following one of the supported scenarios in the table below, and then try the.

This should allow you to adjust the game volume through your Xbox One headset. If you’re having issues with the audio not coming through, you may have to go and update your controller.
