Hello.
A little over two years ago, I started working on a game project which I decided to call SCP - Containment Breach. It quickly became much more popular than I could have ever imagined, and now it's grown from a simple jumpscarefest revolving around SCP-173 to something I'd call a full blown game. Even though some members of the SCP Wiki have stopped by our forum and even offered their help with the development, I still hadn't bothered to post anything on this forum until now. Now with the release of SCP-CB version 1.0 being a month or two away and the live-action promo video in the making, it's about time I show up here as well.

SCP – Containment Breach is a first person horror game where the player controls a D-class stuck in the middle of a large containment breach, releasing several dangerous SCPs that the player must evade before escaping. It was created by Joonas 'Regalis' Rikkonen, a Finnish independent game. Hello Planet Minecraft here's an old horror adventure map I created a while back based on the infamous SCP Containment Breach. The map was made around the 0.4 0.5 update for SCP CB so the areas in the game are severely outdated. Fifa street 4 pc download utorrent. The player controls a 'Class-D' also known as 'Benjamin Oliver Walker' (a level 4 researcher caught doing illegal research on an SCP known as 'spiral gestalt'), designated D-9341 as he attempts to escape an underground research and containment facility operated by the SCP Foundation amidst a total containment breach of its hazardous anomalies, designated 'SCP's.

First of all, I want to thank you all not just for the amazing work you've done with this site and the amount of support I've received for SCP-CB (and for the countless of hours I've spent reading through the articles and stories), but also for giving the inspiration to start a game project that has, in a sense, changed my life. Around the time I started making SCP-CB I was graduating from upper secondary school, and had no clue what I'd do after that. I had been making games for years, but I'd always considered it just a hobby and thought getting a job out of it was just a pipe dream. It wasn't until the success of SCP-CB that I got the confidence to start pursuing a career in game development, and now I'm studying game programming in Turku University of applied sciences and it's starting to look like this could actually become more than just a hobby.

I think I'll also have to apologize for flooding your site with 13-old kids who seem to have a hard time grasping the relation between the wiki and the game (or it might just be that reading the first sentence on the main page of the game is too much for some). As a side note, Pewdiepie sort of did the same to me by making a 'Let's play'-video of the game. If he hadn't increased the popularity of the game by orders of magnitude, I might have been a little annoyed when the average age of forum users suddenly dropped by several years.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the game. Feel free to let me know about the things you think are breaking canon for example. While I've tried to stick to canon as much as possible, I'm also trying to make a good game and sometimes I've had to make compromises for the sake of gameplay. Placing such a number of Keter- and Euclid-level SCPs in the same facility for example is probably not something the Foundation would do, but the backstory (Chaos Insurgency destroying/damaging a large amount of other containment sites) explains it well enough to give us the freedom to use pretty much any SCP that we see as suitable for the game.

I guess I'll throw the ball to you now; questions, criticism and suggestions are more than welcome.

SCP - Containment Breach Review

SCP - Containment Breach is a terrifying first-person adventure where the player controls a test subject trapped inside a lab full of paranormal creatures. What began as a simple test that might have killed your character, however, ends in tragedy.

Breach

At the beginning of the adventure, a power problem in the lab sets all of the creatures being studied loose. Your mission is very simple: survive the nightmare.

To survive, you'll have to run through the complex's hallways and rooms, looking for anything that might help you. A gas mask, batteries for your flashlight, and keys to open certain doors will be crucial to your survival.

In addition to all of the supernatural creatures you will come across in the SCP lab's hallways, you'll have to be careful of the soldiers, since they don't want you to escape.

SCP - Containment Breach is an interesting adventure game of supernatural terror with great scene randomization. The story is always the same, but the hallways in the complex will change every time you play.
